Slow cooker fudge

Yes…I know another slow cooked recipe…but seriously it doesn't get any easier than this!

I have  tried making fudge a few ways, and they all turn out fairly well.

What I do like about this recipe/way is that I loaded the dish washer, cleaned the work surfaces.
Gave a hoover round and I just gave this a stir in between each chore.

So I made two lots of fudge, one was with Mars Bars and one was with pink M&M's  recipes are the same except the toppings

As it's Valentines this weekend I decided to decorate one lot with some pink stuff :)

What you'll need
500g of chocolate per batch
1 can of condensed milk
a knob of butter
chopped up Mars bars  or any toppings

Break the chocolate up and place in the slow cooker dish
add the condensed milk and knob of butter

turn the slow cooker on low and leave the lid off! Seriously…leave it off.
give the mix a stir and go do something for about 10 minutes come back and give a stir.
So make yourself a coffee then come back and give the mix a stir :) Your getting my point here right :)

When everything is melted and combined and the mixture is thick.
pour the chocolate in a lined dish.
add the toppings and then fold over the paper or with some extra  waxed paper cover then with a dish press down.

place in the fridge until set at least 1 hour if not longer

remove from fridge 5 ~ 10 minutes before you cut it up :)

Enjoy :)

What you'll need

add everything to slow cooker dish
EXCEPTthe Mars bars and toppings
They are for later :)

line a dish/tin

Give another stir

When all mixed and mixture is quite thick
pour (well put in the dish)

Add your Mars Bars

Cover the top with waxed paper
Push down with a dish

So all the Mars bars are set in the mix
Place in the fridge to set

OR
add some toppings of your choice

I used M&M's and sugar hearts

Again cover the top and push down.
You don't want anything falling off

When set remove from the fridge  5~10 before cutting it

The M&M one is more difficult to cut

Store in a container
and ENJOY !!!
